Snowdon Challenge
The Irish Guards Snowdon Challenge raised over £10,000.00 with gift bringing that amount to over £11,500.00. A great achievement from all involved. Jayne Burgan and Emma Johnson present Major General Sir William Cubit with a cheque at the annual dinner on behalf of all those involved. Next year it is planned do hold the event as a weekend camp, holding a barbecue and “mickery” on Saturday night after the walk.
Fallen Comrades service will take place at 19:00 hours on 12th November at St Francis De Sales Church, Hale Road, Walton. The Lord Mayor, Frank Pendergast and Derek Twigg MP have confirmed their attendance.
